"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Dr. Adrian Rogers 1931-2005

Project 52

I kind of am a self taught crocheter. I had help(many years ago) with stitching the initial rows then looping it to the second row, but nothing else. I do not know how to read patterns and create new things so I crochet by default. But I wanted to make something-well that was something that others knew! So I watched a tutorial on making granny squares and plugged away until I had enough squares...and made this. I did a simple stitch in back, thanks to another tutorial. I do love technology!

I finished around the entire quilt with the simple granny stitch-so what do you know? I do know a stitch now! This is my first attempt at anything that isn't a straight line back and forth. I am pretty content with the results and have decided to do another, as with practice I can only get better at this. By the way-I am putting this up until the County Fair. The Fair, for me, is a place that I can share new skills I have learned, in addition to things I do on a day to day basis on the farm.
