"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Dr. Adrian Rogers 1931-2005

As always~many out takes exist

as my idea of the photo and what happens are usually far apart!  The subjects were goofy as ever and I ended up taking about 50 photos.   I am going to share a post soon about before digital and how many rolls of film it took to get the annual photo.  Now I smile, but then I wanted the best photo to send to all the family all over the country.

I can't believe this photo happened.   The couples are in focus.
In a million years...I doubt I could do this again!
l-r  First, First's Sweetie, Second, Third, Third's Sweetie, and Fourth.

This is more like it.  Having my family remain serious for
any amount of time is almost impossible!

Girly Whirlies!

The guys!

This was a cute one too as Second is feigning awe looking to
First and his Sweetie almost in a kiss!

Some trivia.  Almost six years between the six of them.
The middle four were all born within 13 months of each other.
Five are a blend of Mexican, Native American, and good old
American mutt.  One is first generation American. Four are second
generation American.  Five are the children of a veteran.  One is a
veteran.  Not one of the six was born in the same state, no matter
the country~as two were born overseas.   One is the child of parents
married 27 years, four~parents married 25 years, and one is of parents
that married when she was small...for 15ish years.  That means for the
six~they have parents married that have been married for a grand total
of 67 years!  Now for the shocker...in the times we live in~
ALL six are employed.
Some while attending college.

As I close...I wish to say Happy Veteran's Day.
