"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Dr. Adrian Rogers 1931-2005

The Farm Table

On the table a centerpiece I am crocheting for Hanukkah

Sitting next to the table~is our precious special K!
She calls me gramma and Bill papa.  She came out to the farm
on Sunday afternoon with Bill and I so we took her out to see the animals and help with chores.
She loved collecting the eggs and searched each coop ever so diligently!
For the record-I think that there can never be too many people to love a child.
So we may not be this little cutie's blood grandparents but in her mind we are her
gramma and papa. I am quite honored to be a part of little K's life and
take my roll of adopted gramma very serious.
By the way, K took home the first egg she collected!!

*as to the photos, they are from my cell phone. I am certain I am not doing something correct because some turn out good and others~well like these. Well give me time~
