"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Farewell My Dear Friend

With a sad heart I go through my day, as my dear goosey, my sweet friend flew off one last time.

Silly me, I loved that old goose so much.
He and I became as much of friends as a goose and a person could.
Each day we would visit and take comfort in this bridge we had created between man and beast, or in this case, woman and bird.

I know he was not the best to my little angel Fourth, as he was jealous and Fourth had my attention if she was outside...and he wanted it too.

You do not get to my age without loss, and I have felt my share but George...I still will miss you and yes those are tears.

Thank you George for sharing so wonderfully what it was like to be friends with a goose! George you often made me smile, and will be in my heart forever.

Goodbye dear BFF George.
I love you.
