"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Dr. Adrian Rogers 1931-2005

Tuesday Ten

Time for Tuesday Ten~once again.

The skies in New Mexico are ever changing and always filled with Hope.

The county road to the Double Nickel Farm
unpaved~unmaintained
exactly how we like it.

This is from our trip to Mesa AZ a few years ago.
I wish to do something like this in my laundry room.

Blanket forts...important to every childhood
for both parent and child.

This is something that I wish to make for the farm house.
I think this is the year that I will make it.

And this little horse...oh I am going to make a few of these this
year as well.  I love getting ideas from here there and everywhere.

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4

Games~such a simple way to teach respect, understanding
of winning and losing and interaction with others.
I am thankful that the farm family is a game family.

The Bible...no matter the language the Truth stands.

I shall close with an image that shares somewhat
my thought process.  I see items and think of how it can
be used in other ways. I see color and vibrancy in even the
dullest of environments and am as unique and quirky
as this...and I am wonderfully made.
