"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Seriously? Media Blackout in the Gulf?

I have read over the past several days how the media is struggling to gather information in the Gulf, as BP officials and the US government are not allowing access.

Anderson Cooper of CNN:

A reporter was detained as Gateway Pundit shares, and to me this part was very important:

Rosenfield was released after officials looked through the pictures he had taken and took down his date of birth, Social Security number and other personal information, the photographer said.

Why is this so important? Well it provides the clues on how we can get the story out to the people.

  1. Living on the border of Mexico and the volatile racist state of Arizona gave me my best idea on how to get information to the people. We need to send illegal immigrants to the Gulf, because if one cannot ask for personal information in Arizona, then they cannot in the Gulf...in fact the government would be afraid to ask for this information as they are not racist...only Arizona is, as well as conservatives, Republicans, and every white man in the nation except liberal white men.
  2. I need to remind my readers that whenever the story is detrimental to a conservative, nothing would hold the reporter from digging down and reporting every bit of data...so MSM rethink how you are trying to report the story. Forget that the president is Midas, and remember how much the Gulf states and this spill will impact the nation for years to come. Remember that you are as connected to this crisis as you were when Katrina hit. I recall watching a correspondent that was in New Orleans so quick that he was able to do an interview with a body in the background. Yet, we are not allowed to see the marine life? Come on.Seriously what is the problem?

The paparazzi could give the MSM some ideas on how to garner information in a stealth fashion.

Oh and if 5000 reporters headed to the Gulf and all did a full court press (so to speak) the folks at BP or Homeland Security may be able to detain one or two of them, but not 5000!

By the way- if anyone wishes to fund my travels to the Gulf, I will promise to be as I am in everything else- efficient, direct, and of course sweet as a humble housewife can be!
