"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Dr. Adrian Rogers 1931-2005

Does God Change?

I ask this question to any and all readers but wish for those that are professing Christians, if they could to please pipe in.

Did God change the Sabbath day? Meaning that since Christ's resurrection that Sunday is the Christian Sabbath day.

This is not a trick question and I will give some scriptures to allow you to: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
 2 Timothy 2:15

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.  Genesis 2:3

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Exodus 20:8-11

Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.  Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. Exodus 31:15-17

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. Leviticus 23:3

Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. Isaiah 56:2

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Isaiah 56:6

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 66:23

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. Matthew 12:8

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Matthew 24:20

And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment. Luke 23:56

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. Mark 16:1

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6

Okay these are a few scriptures to help out.  Also look for scriptures in the New Testament that perhaps are used as anchor scriptures for the change. I have a few that have been used but I will not reveal them in case they are from only certain denominations as I do not want to bias anyone sincerely helping me understand the change of the 4th commandment to Sunday.
Thank you in advance for your help.
