"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Repurposing the yard sale chairs

I bought a few years ago while back east.  I paid $1.00 for each chair and I think I got a bargain.  I finally am to this project and here are two of the chairs I have finished.

And yes, I do like bold, bright colors.  They are a wonderful contrast to the somewhat not so bright but ever so beautiful desert.  Final cost per chair $4.00 with remaining spray paint to brighten other items.

You did a good job! I too like bright colors, Hubs not so much. We manage to compromise. Our home is mainly quiet somber colors but our bathroom is WILD!

Ginger- I was for years a subdued home dweller. I kept to the norm followed what everyone else did, not because I was a zombie, but because I really thought it was nice. I stopped watching television and pow, I began to add color here and there and everywhere. Apparently, the me inside, patiently awaited until I decided to allow her to come out. Color is part of me, as corny as rocks are. Bill of course is numero uno and through and with him, colors are brighter more vibrant and more amazing!!! ps...I would love to see pics of your bath!
