"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Throwback Thursday

The goof troop with at the time (summer 2000)Governor Mike Leavitt of Utah.
This is a two fold Throwback Thursday~ it is of the kitchen before the makeover and of making tin foil dinners on the grill.  Have you ever made tin foil dinners?  We season the meat on foil, add any and all veggies that we personally like and then cook it on the grill. This is Third in his teen years.

This is an image of the front hall after we removed the awful carpets.  Since it took time to put the new floors in, I painted the subfloors. We had painted subfloors for about five years.
I shared recently this image
and you can see how this floor looks today.
And finally:

I shared this image for a Throwback Thursday but it was an edited version and I really like this one better so I am including it in the Throwback Thursday post.
