"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Happy Happy HAPPY!

The goof troop (my four children-now all adults and need a better nickname) are still close.  They may not hang out every day or see each other as much as when they were teens but they are very much part of each others lives.  Friday night one of the four invited the others with their loves over to share some news.

My kids all got together so that the one could announce that another wee one will be added to the family!  YAY!

I LOVE that the kids still share their lives so much.  I love that the cousins all will grow up together and that Bill and I get to be part of all of their lives.

By the way~I am ever so happy.
Oh and the fear of aging makes becoming a grandparent scary.  Embrace getting older as you get to witness your children becoming parents and get to be part of the next generation!!

I am so HAPPY!
Goof troop about 5 years ago.

Oh and Papa and Gigi (Bill and I)were told the news a bit ago and asked to keep the information private until they shared.  The way they told us?  Hey Dad and Mom, could we all get together to study Bible? Sure.  At the beginning of the study this goof stood and asked if we could say a prayer first.  He said can you all pray that we will be good parents?  I nearly burst into tears.  I love, love, love, love, love my children and how they are living their lives and doing all that Bill and I have done and more!
