"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Farm hands are stinkin'

Grand #1 came out to the farm yesterday (in case the previous post
didn't give you that idea).  I asked him if he wanted to help me
feed the critters...and he said, ya. I loaded him up in the wagon as
we had to stop for hay and feed.  He was quite happy to ride to work!

He got out at the chickidoodle coop.
He is so good at scattering the feed.  Both Grands have
helped enough with the chickies that they know what to do.
This time though, Grand #1 wanted a close interaction with the
henny penny's!
And he put a bunch of grain on the stump.
Several hens jumped up while he was there, but I didn't get a photo as
I was giggling  with Grand #1 as he was so excited!
We then went to the sheep.  He has helped with the water
before, so he started right in with his job!
By the time we finished with the sheep, I asked Grand #1 if
he was getting warm and he said, ya.
I took his coat off and we headed to the geese.
Grand #1 said something that was in an excited tone
and he never did help with the geese...
as he saw the swing set and marched off to swing!
Oh and he loves to slide!

It was a fun day on the farm yesterday.
Well everyday on the farm is fun, but when a grand comes it is super fun!!
