"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Rainy~ Dreary Thursday

Time for a post with random photos that really have nothing in common-well the last two do, but otherwise a bit of randomness as that seems to be a theme for the past few days!
Another doodle.
Magnet on the fridge.
On the shelf a pickled situation with the onions and peppers.

From the files.  We went to St. George Utah
one year to see the traveling Vietnam War Memorial.
First is pointing at my Dad's name

From the files once again.  My cutie pies about 19 years ago.

As the title says, it is raining here.  It has rained all night and I cannot see the mountains
from my porch~ugh.  Overcast and dreary is a eye boggler for me.
Thank you Bill for continuing to feed the critters in the morning, but especially this morning as I really do not want to go out in this weather.
