"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

We don't always dress up on the farm but

when we do, we rock the fashion industry.  Well the fashion industry on the farm is made up of sheep, chickidoodles, geese, dogs, and cats.  It is a tough crowd to impress but I promise you, Bill and I impress them!

I do have my Bill's permission to flash you his legs because we both about fell down laughing when he got ready to work outside.  We had been having triple digits in heat and high humidity and Bill said I am wearing shorts while working.  Now if you scroll through the previous posts you know we have snake issues here and boots are necessary for that BUT boots are also necessary for the mesquite thorns.

I confess that I found Bill absolutely adorable with his socks, boots and shorts.  It took Bill 17 years to even wear shorts so crossing to this level is indeed something crazy cute! Now days away from our 28th anniversary this is a new milestone!

Now to my dear readers, please understand we live in the middle of nowhere and aside from the critters no one has any viewing of our work attire and I promise no animal was harmed by the fashion sense Bill displayed!
