"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Jose Chavez may you rest in peace

photo credit: Dona Ana Sheriffs' Department

It is so hard to see what times we are living in and to have those that stand for the American citizen 24 hours a day 7 days a week be attacked, is heartbreaking. We on the farm stand with law enforcement and will continue to do so.  May the Chavez family find peace and comfort during these hard days.

It takes a special kind of person to put themselves in harm's way just to protect you and me.

DD-Yes DD it sure does and I am so thankful for law enforcement and I feel the loss every time one is killed in the line of duty.
