"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

What the wind

blows in~
I have been finding a child's schoolwork all about the property.  Some are stuck in the mesquite, others just on the ground.  We are a windy region but I have never had schoolwork land on the farm.  We have had plywood, sheet metal (yea scary), and all kinds of garbage either blow to the farm or by the farm.  I have never found something that I put on the fridge to enjoy!  It is a boy's schoolwork based on the name, and he is or was in the primary grades in school.

For me, it is another thing that makes me smile (and in these times that is needed), while living on the farm.  Thank you for the nice color work little wind boy~it is a nice addition to my fridge!

DD- I do and this artwork will remain on my fridge because I do believe that there can never be too many people to love, cherish and uplift a child. I may do this without his knowing, but I needed to appreciate him, as so much of his little life is blowing about and I pray that all is well with him.
