"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

One month ago

The rocks were around the black water bowl as they could not climb in
without them.

Here they are today.  For the record, one month ago they could
walk right through this fence.
Crazy isn't it?  If you were raising birds for meat, I will say that
geese grow quite quickly and you could fill your freezer.
I am going to raise these two as bug eaters.
I am hoping that they will hatch two little ones next spring.
If not, no worries.

I am glad that Bill finally can see geese for what I have seen
them as all the time.  I love geese.  They have such a nature
that is like a dog.  They bond with people and these two have
bonded with Bill and I.

My geesey goosey's are really a good addition to the farm and I
am glad that we have geese once again!

And they make great "watch dogs". I have had geese in the past and they thought they owned me and my place.

Yes, I love how the geese are alarms and pretty goose honky as well to those that do not belong!
