"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Three Things

This is a post about three things I did yesterday.  I am smiling as I type that because I did a good deal more than three things, so let me say these three things are things I did before 8 am!

Chips cans.
I am working on an idea, and I needed a base coat on the cans
to complete the idea.  We had silver spray paint so the base coat
is silver!  It was a bit cooler yesterday morning~so this was a
chilly project!

Bible study.
I used to study the Bible without anything but the Bible.
Now, I use notepads, index cards, colored pencils, the dictionary,
Strong's Concordance and time!

Scrap wood.
With the porch rebuild we have lots of scraps.  This was the perfect
size and I doodled a saying that I do really like.  Bill and I are
looking forward to making several sets of wooden blocks with
some of the rest of the scraps and I know
of two adorable snuggle bunny grands that are on the list of why
we are going to make them.

That is my three.
What did you do yesterday?
