"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Grand #1 Hat, Hammock and Papa!

There is something about Bill's hats that the grands love.  Remember Grand #2 and Bill's hat?
The other evening at church Grand #1 took Papa's hat and wandered about.  He is so cute.  Bill told me that when he turns three, that Bill is buying him his own pair of cowboy boots and hat~and also for Grand #2.
Highlight of the porch rebuild is Bill having a place for his hammock.  Second and his family came over the other night and although we are doing the final touches on the porch and such, the hammock is up.  Grand #1 had a sweet time with Bill in the hammock.  He was so sleepy and could have drifted off if it wasn't nearing the time Second had to leave.  I really love this concentrated look each is giving the other!
