"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

To our Veterans

Thank you.

I love this country. When I see the flag flapping in the wind I still get emotional. Each day that the flag continues to fly over my home I am reminded of those who have made that possible.

To all the veterans of the United States Armed Forces~ thank you.

To my brother and brother-in-law,
my nephew,
to my oldest,
and my husband
I am very thankful for you service.

I know the sacrifices you have made to stand when others can't or don't.

I too give my thanks to your loved ones who have served and think too of your father.

My Dad served in the Navy in the early 1960's in Vietnam, on an aircraft carrier, both granddads served in WWII - one a Marine in the Pacific and one with Patton in Europe.

I have a great appreciation for our armed services.
