"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Blast From the Past Part 831

And random as can be so enjoy!
First garden at our rental before we moved to the farm.
Note the gallon jugs as mini green houses!
2007
Here's the same plot a bit later. We grew so many things
all from seed.  It was just enough to build our confidence
to moving to the farm!

Blast from the oldie Bill files.
l-r Bill, his mom, and brother A.

During our homeschool years.  We had Where in the world
dinners.  We would study the area and have an attempt to try
something from that place.
I did offer forks~in case!

From a few years ago file.
l-r First, Third, Second holding Fourth, Bill's dad, Bill.

Oh and I know I have shared this one before, but I do love it.
From 1996.  Fourth was still on oxygen.
My wee ones may not be so small anymore, but oh how
they have my heart.

Sometimes the past is a scary place for folks to be, because of hardships or sad memories.  Oftentimes we forget that today~will be a day that we will borrow upon at some point in the future.  Knowing that sometimes is enough to help me make the day the best it can be~even if I am still in my flannel pjs.

Every day is precious and not to be wasted. Every day is numbered of The Lord and a gift to us.
