"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

I forgot to use the rosemary so if you add rosemary add 1/2 tsp. The fries are wonderful without though, so in the photo rosemary is there for moral support!

Just a heads up , potatoes are toxic to chickens.... so compost the left over skins.
Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Tina H-I have read about this before and take your caution. For the Double Nickel, now 6 years later we have given the slops with anything and everything that is left over from the kitchen foods. We have not had any issues. I appreciate your concerns and advise anyone that is raising their own flocks to study what will be best for them and go forth.
