"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Very nice! Granny squares right? Wish I knew how to crochet. I never learned... like I need to learn another craft... :)

I make my own laundry soap, too. I've been using the powdered form, but I don't think it's going as far as the liquid might. Hmmmmm.....

Thank you Gayle...I love to sit and crochet in the evenings. Kind of my relaxing mode, so making 120 small granny squares per lap quilt has been time consuming but very relaxing!

Vickie- I think that they are...but if someone corrects me and says they are something else...then I will call them that, as I kind of am a train as you go crocheter and I do not understand ANY patterns! Oh as to the soap it SO stretches even longer!
