"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Making It At Home

is a new button on my sidebar.  It will contain links of posts to nearly everything around the farm that makes our lives easier...at times a recipe will be cross-linked to here as well as the recipe button on the right.

Oh and perhaps I should mention a few more thingsAs we have progressed on this journey we have discovered that store bought is NOT always best.  Sometimes items have ingredients that are not the best for people.  I am not a doctor or scientist but I am concerned for the well being of the family in what products we use, what we eat, and how much items cost.  This journey has been eye opening as many of the items made at home are not only healthier but also cost pennies on the dollar.
  1. Laundry Soap
