"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

seems to comes every week!  Here are some photos on my camera with a scripture verse for each photo.
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 2:18

I have been working on this brick path.
As usual with most projects on the farm, the path,
formerly known as a shed, will find new life.

Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matt. 7: 14

I love the beautiful skies out west.  I feel hope when I see the
beautiful sky.

For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Psalm 33: 21-22
Long before we had firearms man had ways to defend himself,
wage war, and murder others.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be;
and that which is done is that which shall be done:
and there is no new thing under the sun.  Ecclesiastes 1:9

I took this photo at a trading style post in Arizona.
The center gourds are the reason I took it as I liked the idea
of a new way to use the gourds I grow.

And the house, when it was in building,
was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither:
so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron
heard in the house, while it was in building. I Kings 6:7

I sometimes snap photos of things I would like to make.  Here is another
item from the trading post in Arizona.

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule,
which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held
in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. Psalm 32: 9

In New Mexico we have very few days that aren't
brightened by sunshine no matter the temperature.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the
light of life. John 8: 12

On our trip to Mesa, Arizona last month we were downtown
and saw many unique creations.  I was happy that Bill had a
chance to see how I feel when I sit in chairs!

There were giants in the earth in those days;
and also after that, when the sons of God
came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare
children to them, the same became mighty
men which were of old, men of renown.
Genesis 6:4
Our temperature at 7 am-Cloudy 15°

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat, and summer and winter,
and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:16
