"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Corny Conversation

We are home.  We were a tad tired last night, so I began playing 20 questions with Bill.  As I have a new(free upgrade) phone, I am trying to learn the gadgets, and recorded the conversation as we were driving.

By the way, for not recording too many things over the years, I suppose I could say I am fluent in Hollywoodspeak...as I closed with a rather cliche response.

oh how fun! I'm glad I found this. It was so great hearing both of your voices. I remember the time you called me as I was getting dressed for our Wed. night service. I need your current phone #. I'd love to call you!
