"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Yep, in case anyone is wondering, we are getting snow right now. It is not sticking because the ground is too warm, but it is snowing...and my mountain has snow on the upper rim. For the record, I live on the border of the US. Not the border with Canada, but the border with Mexico!*!*!*!*!

You have our snow and we have your 80* weather here in MI. Not sure what to expect so can't plant a garden. We normally have snow through April and danger of frost can happen through May. Our planting season doesn't start till after Mother's Day and safer to wait till after Memorial Day. It's been CRAZY!!!
