"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Photo Frenzy

We have been somewhat busy on the farm with the projects we have undertaken. I am sure anyone that has done their own construction/makeovers will agree with me when I say it is not so easy to do everything, all the while running the farm, having Bill at work, and running the home. Let's just pretend that everything is easy smeashy!

Our roof is finished. Smile Second! Second was gathering a few things remaining on the roof. We did hire a crew to put the roof on and I am thankful that they came out from town every day. I made them lunch each day as fast food is not on every corner out here in the sticks.(sorry the photo was at dusk)

As I was out walking from pen to pen, I saw Teegar sitting upon this pole. She was nervously checking out the dogs on the ground!

Sunset from the ewe's views!!

Sunset from my eye! At the Visitor's Center at White Sands!

Nellie feeding the kids on the goat playground. Newest addition to the playground were several stumps! The kids love running over, under, and through the tires-then jump on the tree stumps!

Lovely Delilah resting while the henny's lunch!

Daylight Donuts. Kind of small/definitely humble, yet very delicious donuts!

Oh and in case you are wondering...that is a ewe peeking out of the rooster coop! I am not sure why she feels the need to go inside~but she does almost every day. Thanks for asking, that is a speaker on top of the coop. Fourth and I were mucking out the sheep pen today and she brought along some Garth for our sunshiney~ hot~ poo~ removal~ job!

I have an adopted (left behind) outdoor cat that looks a lot like Teegar. She is very sweet, but a bit of a brute.

Looks like an enjoyable day at the farm. I actually would mind being out raking Daisy's pen. It would mean the snow was gone!!

Oh Kymber-you would get a kick out of Daylight Donuts. It is ever so small but has a drive thru that backs up on to the street every Sunday. Yes, they are that good. Sigh...

Russell-my guess is that my cat is related to yours...brutish and cute!! lol

Oh Maria-the sunsets are amazing, and I wonder each night how it could be any more lovely-then the next sunset happens...and my breath is taken away.

Gayle-lol I wouldn't mind if you were raking the pen either. It would mean I wouldnt be raking it! Oh the snow photos you post are lovely though!

Michelle-thank you:) huggles!

Proud Hillbilly- you must check my earlier post titled Toilet Talk...your moniker matches my seemingly nutty life. Nothing to be envious about !haha

Oh Debbie- I am so thankful that you received it. The post had a new person working and she did not put a tracker for me...I prayed you would receive it! Yay...btw-the pistachios -are my fav!!!
