"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Are We Witnessing the End of a Nation?

Maybe-

Time Magazine: Catholic Bishops should go to jail for protesting Obamacare Mandates.

Gas prices are climbing. President Obama is going to explain why today.

It is the economy, Mr. President.

The Occupy Movement is threatening to use their Second Amendment rights if things don't change.

Chicken nuggets are healthy? They are according to federal lunch police.
Let's review the chicken nugget process...

Go on over here and check out the chart: It is impossible to believe that those earning $60,000 are making less than those on entitlements...but in our nanny state times, this is not only possible, but happening.

Have you ever noticed the quote on the top of my page by Dr. Adrian Rogers? Here it is so you don't have to scroll up:

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. I am concerned about the same thing, Jen.

Praying and hoping for real change.

You forgot about Amish farmers getting busted for fresh milk being sold to people wanting something other than gov't subsidized factory milk. And that having an opposing view to men marrying men makes you a bigot now instead of believing in God's precepts.

I don't know how to have a nice day any longer :(

That Occupy Movement headline.... if this occurs, this will be the event that triggers gun registration or perhaps even confiscation.

An ending is certainly possible. But a decline is much more likely. The real question is how badly.

All of the points you raise have a high nuisance quotientnt, but number 2 is the real dangerous one.

The one not mentioned is nuclear weapons (possibly with biological to be added at a near future date). They are the existential issue that eveyone wishes away.

Anyone with good sense can look at the things that are going on right now and be flabbergasted ! Good ole horse sense seems to be gone from the people who are making the rules in this country!I am hoping that God is using this presidency to wake up Americans, for us to get back on the right track.I am praying we are now awake and He will allow a new president,a wise president, and healing of our country.
