"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

If I could...

You see my handsome soldier is soon to touch our soil again, and has told us to keep an eye out for a car for him, as he sold his before he enlisted. Oh son I wish I could give you a car...but I'd rather have you home, and I am thankful that Ford seems to agree with this. As I do not have television I am not sure if this is/was a commercial that is recent or old.

ps...dear Ford-thank you. I thank you for this cheesy commercial, I thank you for your thoughts of America and her children that are serving, and I thank you for making vehicles that have been reliable and well, awesome for the farm family.

First and foremost Mom,
and secondly the proud driver of an F-250 diesel which has made me, the shortest person in the family feel TALL!

oh and for all my friends out there- I apologize for not posting for so long. Often we parents have on our plates things that burden us more than we wish to confess. We are still humbly working the farm with our dreams and goals as they were before. This year will be an amazing year as I will have three adult sons and four licensed drivers aside from Bill and I!

We live with the comfort of
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
