"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Simple Life

We went in the mountains a week ago and Fourth wanted to climb the trees. As the desert has few trees that one can climb we said okay.

The trees had nothing on a 15 year old!Why yes, my uncle was a monkey~why do you ask?

Life can be as simple as climbing a tree. Perhaps by the time Fourth has her own child and the child is 15 the Double Nickel will have a tree that can be climbed to the clouds...who knows?

Hoping my readers have a simple day today!!

Ahh, to be 15 again!

I always found that climbing UP was somehow easier than climbing back down. Why IS that?

I never thought about the lack of trees you must have.

What a simple pleasure for Fourth!
