"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Would You Sign This Today?

We traveled to the Tea Party in Las Cruces New Mexico today. It was wonderful and the American Spirit is still alive and well. For the poster contest, I made this poster...as I have wondered who would sign the Constitution(as is) if it were written today.
After sharing the front of the poster, I then flipped it around and asked the Tea Party friends if they would sign the Constitution, if it were written today.

I love America as we still do have many that will stand tall. I am proud to be an American and cannot wait to have this filled to send overseas to the oldest son, as he and those that have worn the uniform understand the very price that may be required to stand for this country.

The turnout for a boiling, blazing typical July day was amazing, as we folks in New Mexico usually hang inside until late evening, as these temperatures are usually only fit for the oven!

More photos soon!

btw- not only would I sign this today, but I will stand for America and say NO MORE to those who have waged war on the America. Now is the time, and everyone of us needs to stand as our forefathers did so many years before.

~thank you Las Cruces Tea Party for hosting this event, and sponsoring the incredible DVD collection that I won for this poster!
