"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Want to Cry Happy Tears?

This little cutie...Kayden Joshua is my great-nephew born on Saturday afternoon.

He is a strong little man, and like all boys~ flexes for the camera to show his awesome muscles...
Here is Ashley already madly in love with Kayden, snuggle-bugglin' him. Daddy will snuggle-buggle him soon, you see, it is time for the happy tears...

Daddy- Josh was in the delivery room, thanks to SKYPE as he is in Bagdad right now. I cannot hold back tears now as I type. I am so thankful that the technology exists so that young wives and husbands can stay connected instantly.

To sweet Josh and Ashley- thank you for bringing a new baby into the world! You both did wonderful and hip hip hurray from New Mexico!!

I love babies. But then, who doesn't? It's a shame Daddy can't be there in person.
