"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Have We Forgotten?

As I jumped around the internet today, I noted that very few places mentioned the importance of today. I should not be surprised as 9-11 was only 8 years ago and we not only have forgotten that as a nation, but are molly coddling the very criminals who attacked us.

So back to December 7. Have we forgotten?

Why is it so hard to understand that the world we live in is an evil place to be, and we must be ever vigilant?

I have not forgotten. I will not forget.

We have not forgotten either. Of the several times I have clicked on my news page today I can't recall seeing anything on Pearl Harbor.

Good looking son you have there...he's almost as cute as mine in uniform ;

I mentioned that very thing to a co-worker and said we are having a Christmas party at work on Pearl Harbor day! I told her the younger people won't even acknowledge the day after were gone!

By the way - love your Frugal Living blog!
