"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Mother's Day Twins!

At 10:10 pm our newest goat Daphne had her first twin...the one on the right. At 11:00 pm she had the pretty white brown mixed kid. Boy what wonderful way to end Mother's Day. All of us sat outside her pen and watched the second one born. Now this was an amazing thing to experience!!

Jennifer- Your twins will be adorable--these critters are just fun! I cannot wait for the big day!

Deby- I know- I secretly hoped that she would birth on Mother's Day! It was special to witness as a family!

True Blessings- yep wow is the word. We were a bit shocked at the white one...pretty neat addition to our herd!

To my *local* friend. I am very cautious about publishing anyone who is in my region. I have worked very hard to maintain our anonymity so I did not publish your comment! All critters are well and soon I will update ALL!!!
