"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Graffiti?

I took this photo at Three Rivers Petroglyph Site(click to link)

We study the 'writings' or Petroglyphs on the rocks and come up with all sorts of stories or meanings. Perhaps they were just written by a bunch of teens with time on their hands?

Just my thoughts on a rainy Monday.

How wonderful that your minds have an imagination!! One of our favorite pasttimes was to make up stories or to hypothesize about something....Everyone (including the youngest) could add their thoughts!!

I would love to see these...how thought provoking!!

(And if the teens did it, they sure are resourceful!! looks authentic!!)

Sandra yes the above petroglyph is historical and has been studied. There are over 21,000 petroglyphs at the site I linked, which just so happens is down the way from me!

Pat-no these were not done by teens of today...I was just having fun, as I see so much graffiti on the trains as they pass.
